Addressing an election rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently said, “No government should discriminate the public on the lines of religion and caste. Sabka saath, sabka vikas is our mantra”, PM Modi said. “Ramzan mein bijli aati hai tho Diwali mein bhi aani chaahiye; Holi mein bijli aati hai to eid mein bhi aani chaahiye. Bhed-bhaav nahi hona chaahiye (If there is electricity during Ramadan; it must be available during Diwali too. If there is electricity during Holi; it must be available during Eid too. There shouldn’t be any discrimination), the prime minister added.
